Good year

I am quite sad about finishing the year, because it has been such a good one. 😥

I have learnt a lot about the catholic church, in Australia and other countries, and i hope that it is as fun next year as it was this one.

Catholic faith

The catholic faith is important to me because it has been a part of my life since i was only little. When i was in primary school my mum found it necessary to go to church every Sunday, but now she just tells me that there are more important things to do. The catholic faith has been drained from our life more recently, and stress has tended to take over in our lives. I was christened as a catholic and that means that my life is devoted to God but i have not put any thought into being catholic recently apart from in Re class. This is my main place for reflecting because i no longer engage church. I think that the main reason that i do not engage in the catholic faith because doesn’t really relate to it. If the catholic church did something more modern with churches then i could probably fee more of a part of the catholic faith, but there are some things which are modern, but are more suited to little kids then teenagers, because it seems immature.

My Lai Massacre

I think that the situation in My Lai is and was disgusting, the fact the people My Lai were murdered in cold blood makes me feel sick, but i don’t think that it is Charlie Company’s fault because they just followed the orders that they were given, and they thought that almost everyone in the small village was armed, and from the Viet Cong. It was a tragic accident that most probably could have been prevented.
